My first look of the new year! Unfortunately i dont have a photo of a new years look because my plans changed dramatically at the last minute & i never bothered to finish the look i had started. I will probably end up redoing it incase anyone's interested. So this is what i wore yesterday, the first day back to school :) enjoy!
- prime your lids with MAC "underground" paint pot
- using a 217 brush, sweep MAC "kid" into the crease using windshield wiper motions
- next take MAC "woodwinked" with the 239 & pat this colour onto the lids, blending with "kid"
- with the 217 brush again, take MAC "mystery" & blend a little bit into the outer corner, overlapping with MAC "kid"
- line your lower lash line with MAC "mystery" using the 214 brush
- with a 227 brush using a MATTE skintone colour, for me this is MAC "blanc type", blend out any harsh edges to create a smooth transition to the highlight
- Apply your highlight colour with the 227 brush using MAC "going bananas" (limited edition)
- with a 275, apply MAC "going bananas" (limited edition) to the inner corner of your eyes
- fill in your brows
- using a black eyeliner pencil, line your tightline and waterline, i used Urban Decay "24/7 eyeliner pencil" in zero
- using any black eyeliner (gel, cream, liquid, pencil) line your upper lash line, i used ELF "studio cream liner" in black
- apply your favourite mascara, i used NYX "doll eye"
- first prime your skin using clean fingers with either a moisturizer or foundation primer, i used Clinique "dramaticlly different moisturizing lotion"
- next conceal under your eyes and any imperfections with a 194 brush or your fingers & dab onto the skin, i used MAC "pro longwear concealer" in NW15
- apply your foundation, i used MAC "mineralized skin finish natural" in light
- if using regular foundation, set with powder.
- next take your contour colour with a 168 brush and contour the hollows of your cheekbones and anywhere else you'd like, i used Coastal Scents "dark camo quad" in the darkest shade
- apply with a fluffy dome brush (i used the "blush" brush from Visage), MAC "bite of an apple" blush (limited edition) to the apples of your cheeks & blend up along your cheekbone
- finally dust a little of Too Faced "snow bunny bronzer" onto the top of your cheekbones up to your temple as a highlight with a 188 brush
- prime your lips with a lip primer or lip balm, i used California Mango lip balm
- line & fill in your lips with a nude lip liner, i used Jordane Cosmetics "spirit"
- next apply MAC "pink friday" (limited edition- nicki minaj) lipstick
What's funny is I did my eyes like that yesterday, except I did the gold color up top and every one loved it.
ReplyDeletei love brown colours on brown eyes, you should add makeup photos to your blog!
ReplyDeleteI try but I can never EVER get it to show up how it looks in person. I have adjusted all the settings and it just looks bad, so I don't post. BTW, I love the new pic you added to this. You look awesome.
ReplyDeletethank you!! im trying to upload more photos of each look because i dont do video tutorials. i have the same problem, sometimes i have to photoshop the lighting otherwise it looks totally washed out.
