Warm Smokey Eye

Hey everyone! This is another makeup tutorial for my favourite smokey eye. I wore this out to dinner with my boyfriend the other night. Its very warmed toned with coppers & oranges. Warm colours look great on me because my hair colour is warm & my all over colouring is "winter", which is cool based.

Vainglorious!

Hey everyone! I know its been so long since a makeup post but I've just been so busy. Life has pretty much gotten ahead of me & I'm just trying to deal with things one day at a time, but its getting really hard. I hope everyone had a great xmas, new years & whatever holiday you celebrate! This look was inspired by an Elizabeth Arden eyeshadow duo that I purchased a couple months ago but forgot about. The colours & pigmentation are beautiful. Many people perceive Elizabeth Arden as an "old lady's brand", which is true in some cases as it has very loyal users who are generally older since their anti-aging skincare is A-mazing but their makeup is definitely worth checking out. I have two lipsticks from them which are just awesome, reviews soon! Enjoy this look & be sure to check out my youtube tutorial! Kat Von D: Tattoo Chronicles Candelabra Edition

Hey everyone! This is a review on the Kat Von D: Tattoo Chronicles Candelabra Edition eyeshadow palette. I got this as a present from my Aunt & Uncle (thanks!) & I thought it was so beautiful I had to post a review & swatches! Its sold at Sephora & retails for $49 USD, $59 CAD.

This is the front of the palette, the whole case is a black velvety material & the red is smooth metallic. The design was drawn by Kat & it opens like a book.

This is the makeup part of the palette. The left side is a mirror surrounded by shiny red & black designs, again by Kat. Then there are 12 eye shadows, 0.053 oz each & a full size Sin-Full Lash mascara in Puro Amor.

Overall this palette is beautiful. The designs are gorgeous & the art work is amazing. The packaging itself is very boxy & strong with a light magnet keeping it shut. The eye shadows are a little powdery but are super pigmented. The majority are shimmer or glitter, the texture's remind me of Urban Decay. I havent opened the mascara yet, I will do a separate post on that when I finish the three I already have on the go. I think this palette is really great, I wish the shadows were a little less powdery but the quality is still pretty top.

FOTD: Olive Eyes

Im so sorry Ive been away for so long. I will have a post updating all of you on my life soon, just be cautious when reading it... there will be a heavy topic throughout that whole post. As for this look, this is one of my everyday eyes. Yes its a little dramatic for everyday but the only time I do basic natural looks are when Im pressed for time or just dont feel like doing much that day. This colour combination is one I go to alot, its actually perfect for green & hazel eyes. Enjoy!!

 I went to Toronto today to see a bestie with another bestie :) We just chilled & shopped a little so I didnt do anything crazy interesting with my makeup but I havent posted in a few days so I figured I need to get something up! The photo of my eye shows some red in the darkest shadow but theres no red in it at all in person. The lighting today was very off since every photo is pretty much a different colour, damn clouds!

Such A Steal!

These are the products I got today from work, all costing $10 in total!! Such a steal, mind you they dont have their case packaging. They came in little clear plastic snap packs. These are brand new testers except the Dior duo eyeshadows & the dior blue eyeshadow. They have been disinfected for sale to the employees. All of the shadows cost me $1 each (duo's included) & the lip products were 50cents each!
